The Windstar Hotel - Carolina Beach

We had a lovely stay at Windstar Hotel. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the beach. The pool was wonderful, and the beds were comfortable. Despite the noise from a neighboring room, we enjoyed our time. I'd recommend this hotel.

The hotel was located adjacent to the beach and boardwalk, ocean, and boardwalk there. The staff was welcoming and courteous and made it a really great stay. I had a comfortable room complete with central heating, television, and a microwave. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, best sleep ever.

The hotel is definitely recommended to others. It boasts great location, next to some of the amazing attractions Carolina Beach has to offer. The property restaurant is good🙂👍

I had a great time at this hotel! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the boardwalk and the beach, which was super convenient. I loved the free breakfast; the automatic pancake maker was such a fun touch! The staff were really friendly and made us feel right at home, plus the lobby was cozy and inviting.

There were some downsides. The walls were pretty thin, so we could hear our neighbors at night. we had a hiccup with our first room; the shower door was a bit concerning. Thankfully, the staff quickly fixed it and got us into a better room! it was a fun stay despite a few bumps!

The front desk staff was rude and dismissive.

Upon arrival, a musty smell hit me in the room, hinting at a moisture issue that could use some ventilation between guests. The breakfast left much to be desired. Choices were limited, with stale cereal and breakfast sandwiches packed in plastic wrappings that felt more like convenience store items than something you'd expect at a hotel.

A Family-Friendly Gem

The staff greeted us like family! The pool area was perfect for the kids, and we felt genuinely welcomed throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, noise from the adjoining room disrupted our last night. It was hard to relax with loud partying until early morning.

The cleanliness was excellent, and the staff was great. It was great with its great location near the beach and comfortable room ambiance.
